Flowers have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, the garden was always loaded with flowers. I can recall, at a very young age, my curiosity and amazement at the growth of the hyacinths and paperwhites my mother forced in the wintertime. As an adult, living in Seattle, I worked as a waiter at a restaurant. I began bringing fresh cut tulips from the market to display at the entrance to the dining room. Everyone loved them. Soon, I was arranging flowers for all of the private dinner events. I relocated to Chicago in the spring of 2008. I began doing work for a boutique floral designer early that summer. I spent the next three years studying floral design. I learned to master floral design technique and to hone my own aesthetic.
The result is CUT. Focused on the art of pure and straightforward design. Flowers are always fresh and are presented at the peak of their beauty. Hand-tied bouquets, one-of-a-kind arrangements, events and weddings are the specialty.
CUT. Flowers that speak for themselves.
